The Datum Group’s Plumbing Division is looking to recruit an experienced plumbing and mechanical project manager. We are ideally looking for applicants that have started out as a domestic plumber/gas engineer and have progressed into project managing, with experience running mechanical or plumbing contracts on commercial and residential buildings of values of packages worth £250K+. The individual needs to be commercially astute, eager to learn new skills, able to easily monitor spending against budgets and ensure the resource is planned regularly with weekly updates being given to the business to update them on anticipated labour spending to complete compared back to remaining budgets. There will be potential for the individual to progress into a shareholder within the business relatively quickly once they demonstrate they have the right credential.

Experience:

We are looking for applicants ideally possessing 8 years of experience, however, will consider less experience subject to the right type of candidate.

Location:

Our office is based in Ware,  Site visits as and when required to sites in and around Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties.

Salary:

Competitive Salary will initially depend on individuals’ experience and proficiency.
